Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Stumbling/hesitation off the line

Right when I step on the gas pedal, I've noticed some hesitation. Is this normal or should I be concerned about a future vp replacement? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

It is the sudden call for fuel from the vp44, but the pump can't get it supplied quick enough... ..... that gives a little stumble. I would get a pump/ system on the truck soon or you will be looking @ a vp replacement.
