I realize it is probably the beginning of the end for this transmission but was wondering what could be happening to my transmission. I noticed while plowing snow last night that my transmission temps were suddenly 40* higher than normal. for the last 1. 5 yrs my temps have never gone above 140* and yesterday they would in about 10 minutes of plowing where 180* and stayed there until I got back on the road and cruised to cool it down. It would only cool down to appx 110* when before it would stay at 100* while cruising. Other than the temperature I noticed that before the transmission would lockup at 49mph and would not unlock even under full throttle. After last night it will unlock under hard acceleration until about 60mph where it will stay after that. Any ideas or info.

As a separate question is there a replacement for my current transmission cooler that is more efficient.

My truck is a 95 4wd with a #10 plate full forward, 3gsk, delivery valves

Thanks in advance for your time and help.
