Talked to Superplug this morning
And they were aware that Geno's was having problems and suggested pulling the plugs from the shelf until a solution was found. The Superplug folks said that they had only one or two problems with plugs coming loose. I made some suggestions and the guys I spoke with got my name and number and said he would call me back with a follow up. Guess I must have had a case of the fat fingers when I tried to call them yesterday. In any case, they told me to try the plug but make sure I torqued it to 40 ft. /lbs. and observe it frequently with the intial installation. If it started to leak or loose torque, they said they would issue a full refund. I guess the issue now is if the plug does or does not hold the 40ft. /lbs. torgue. I think I will try the plug but check the torque on it daily until I am sure the torque is stabilized and no leaks. I think if they add a thicker torque distributing washer or increase the diameter of the plug bolt head, that would help out with respect to loosing torque if in fact that is what is happening. If they call me back, I will post what they told me. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!
