Yeesh! Marek its good to know you are still with us. Has the wife started talking to you again? Are you out of the dog house yet? Are you still getting, ahem... shall we say, the cold sholder, so to speak :)

Now I know I'm a just a double wus! :-laf

I got all my shocks in last week, I went with the Fox Pro series with a little twist to it. I am running duals up front, I am going to combine the Fabtech dual shock mount with 4 Fox shocks and see how it goes. So far I have most of the pieces, including my new Nitrogen tank and regulator. I am ordering all of the bushings for the front(sway bar mount, end links, control arms, bump stops, etc) this week along with a '03 track bar and bracket oh and limiting straps too. I am not sure when I will get it installed, but i do plan on taking plenty of pictures, I'll post them latter.

Wow,

What an amazing story. I just heard another from the BajaBull last week. He was telling us how much better his truck stops too. Another 50 mph in Baja, end of life, my wife is gonna kill me story. Glad to hear that you came out ok.

Ironically, my wife was pretty happy about the whole thing. She normally drives much faster than I do. She used to be a Downhill racer and has been clocked at 80 mph on skiis, so driving at 50 puts her to sleep. The problem is that she is used to a much lower profile vehicle and she said that if she had been driving, we would have rolled for sure.

This is the first long, off road trip she has taken in the truck since the suspension change and her quote was "You know, I have to admit, this truck really does ride nice in this rough stuff".

We've got another trip planned early next year and now she is excited to spend even more time off road. Our next trip will probably be about 700-900 miles off road and only a few hundred on the highways.

So, no dog house for me!

Marek, glad you had a good trip and didn't do an Evil Knievel... I'm heading down in three weeks. Where were you guys, and any recommendations on overnight stops on the way to CSL? And how were the roads after the rain?
