Temp. Sensor?

Is anyone using the Dip Stick sensor? Is it accurate or should I spend the $220. 00 for the Mag Tech pan? Also has anyone tried to drill and tap the factory pan for 1/8" probe? Is there enough metal in it to drill/tap?

Trans temp sensor

The best method is to install the factory cooler line that was available for the '94-95 trucks. This line has a block on the line threaded for the 1/8 " pipe thread temp sensor. The cost is about $100.

This location gives the highest reading from the trans: the hot oil on the way to the cooler.



Someone is bound to have the part number, I can't find it right now.
