Two things today... .
First, let the truck warm up, then mashed on the go-pedal... . instantly set a code (P1693, which I know isn't anything to worry about). But why would it set this code now? I had the truck all day yesterday, and drove it just the same, and it never set it.
Second, when I accellerate hard, there is a terrible clicking/knocking noise coming from the right side under the engine. If I let off a little, it'll go away. It was present before hooking up the wire on my Comp, but now after, it's worse. I thought it was my turnbuckle, so I tightened it up today, as it was a little loose, but it's still making the noise. Since my turnbuckle is "wired" on, I went and bought a smaller turnbuckle and a spring to put on in place of the larger one and the wire. I'm now seeing 32 lbs of boost where before the pump-wire I would only see 25 here at 5000' elevation. Anybody have any ideas what this noise is? Thought it might be in the transmission, but after having the transmission done, that sure ain't the case.
Thanks for any help. Josh.
