Test the waters for truck sale

Wanted to see if there was any interest if I put my truck up for sale. I have a 98 12V 4x4 QC 2500 SLT. The truck has 35K, 3. 55 gears and it is and automatic. It is black and driftwood and has 305-70-16 tires with an 8' bed. Interior is excellent with dark grey cloth seats. Exterior is very good with a small ding on the hood and a dent in the rear bumper. I am the original owner. Asking 25,500. You can email me with questions. If no interest, DTT will be getting a call from Santa for me. Reason for sale is looking at new trucks. If the moderators can let this run for a few days I appreciate it. Dont want to waste classified space if there is no interest. Pictures can be made and sent if buyer is serious. Thanks

Thanks Frank. Actually may look at the Duramax. If no takers I have no problem keepin my truck and seein what comes out in 2003. Until then I will definitely be gettin the trans mods by DTT if I keep it.

I think you have a truck that there would be a fair share of people interested in, but, yes, IMO the price is a little steep.

Hey I have 2 trucks I haven't had much luck with. I have a '98 4X4 24 valve and a '97 4X4 I can't seem to get any takers on. I bought the '97 to replace the '98, and when it didn't sell, I put the '97 on the market. Good luck to you though.

Good luck on the sale, RedNuts. I'm trying now to sell my '95 with 92K and I'm down in price to mid 12's (and considereing going lower as I need to sell). I bought an '01 figuring I'd have absolutely no trouble selling the '95 because it's pristine and then... Sept. 11th.



Heck, I even thought about selling the '01!!





'01 QC ETH/DEE 4X4 with everything, $39970 list. Bone stock (for now )

'95 reg cab 2WD, 3. 54, loaded incl TST stuff (see classified ad #1485)

Why on earth would you want to spend thousands to get a Duramax when for $3000 - $4000 you could BOMB your '98 to a point where the aluminum-headed Duramax would not have a chance in the performance department.



I would guess that a lot of potential buyers might think that there is something drastically wrong with your truck for you to consider such a swap. Just my $. 02 (and that's all it's worth!).

Just looking for a change. 2002 Dodge is the same as my truck. Ford is still the same and Chevy, to me, is actually pretty nice inside. I am in no rush to sell nor do I need to sell just after 4 years with my truck looking at what is out there. Probably go to DTT and then see what 2003 brings. Also another factor 0% financing
