Texaco MTX Fluid for 6-Speeds

In anticipation of changing my 6-speed transmission's lube, I purchased a 5-Gallon pail of Texaco MTX fluid today.



If anyone in the Reno, NV area was interested, I thought I'd offer to share for the cost I paid ($3. 432/quart). Sorry but I dont' have any way to repackage the stuff, so the offer needs to be for local folks.

Darn!

I sure wish I had seen this post a month ago when I was litterally looking everywhere across the whole country for this stuff. Ever Texaco distributor Texaco themselves referred me to said they had never heard of it and couldn't order it.



So, I got tired of getting jerked around, and went with Amsoil Series 3000 5W-30. Thanks to MGM and Bob Fisher.

MTX

I tried to buy a 5er of MTX early this month and had NO LUCK all all. My Texacaco distributor found 6 buckets on the east coast but shipping was almost as expensive as the oil. I gave up and went to my Dodge dealer $10+ a quart!? If anyone out there in the Northwest has a line on the MTX fluid. Let me know please.
