I've had the Light Force lights for about 8 years now. I do like them for the pencil beam and they are about as good as your going to get. With them adjusted down to the sharpest point I can get, they will reach out easily 2 miles. But they are still just a big mag light. When you widen the beam, you still get the dark spots in the center just like the flashlight. For general lighting I will go with the PIAA 80 series lights. Nothing short of HID's beat them. As you can see from the picture I have 4 mid range driving lights. These are hi/low beam lights. The PIAA pencil distance driving is just about as good as the Light Force. The PIAA's I have saved me over a dozen times from hitting a moose. They were well worth the money.

My vote is for Light Force, my wife hit a small Moose at a slow speed with out old Hemi we had and it bend the bracket I made and smashed the light into the grill, busting hte grill, but the lights are fine they are now on my 05 Dodge. Here are my lights I use. .
