Alaska Crude Oil Spill of the Week

i have to agree the top fuel dragster's popity popity roar. Even the sound of the blower when the driver lets off the fuel after a burnout.

But my favorite sound is a train going by. I wish I lived closer to the tracks.

Go on and Flame me, But I love the sound of a well tuned GM V-8. But my all time sound is the laugh of a baby; that can't be beat.

I was thinking this before I read HV's post. Nothing like the Rare Bear going by low and WFO. Makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up!

Top fuelers are awsome too but the're not doing 540mph! If it does'nt fly, it's just a car. ;)

How about a straight piped Cummins with BD5's or Supermentals doing the romp-romp-romp idle, then doing a burnout out, then when he lets off the gas after the burnout you hear the turbo spool down ?? I like that.

P. S. I also like a GOOD sound system in a truck. DOesn't hardly matter what's playing, as long as it's a GOOD sound system (The stock infinity is wayyy lacking)

Leaving engine sounds out I love to hear coyotes howling on a clear cool night. At the farm they start singing right at dark, when the train whistles and goes by they really put on a concert. (I know someone will say their wifey telling them how much they love them so I will say that too. )

I like the sounds of summer at the fair, you know a diesel tractor breathing through 4 TURBOs pulling down the track. My other favorite is a 600 hp CAT engine running dual 6" straight pipes on the Jake brake, now thats what I like!!

I like the sound of a Merlin powered P-51! We live under the pattern for a local airport and a Mustang flew over just today. Another favorite sound is Elk bugleing.

Sounds that I think are cool. .

The sound of pee tinkling into water after holding it too long.

Sounds of nature - I guess that includes the above :)

Sounds that I can no longer hear, like crickets, tree frogs, birds chirping, children laughing in the distance.

1) The sound of my 71 Mach 1 351 C doing a burn out.

2) The same car idling.

3) The sound that come out of the tailpipe of a high HP Cummins.

I like the sound that the Blue Angles made. Awesome!!

I like the sound of money. Unfortunatly it's mostly change going into my change jar. :(

My hearing aint what it used to be.
