You probably recall from another thread that I ordered more or less the identical truck. Which means I really don't know what the hell I'm talking about because I don't have one, so there's your disclaimer. LOL Anyway, if I were to speculate, I'd say the air ride doesn't do much UNLESS it's loaded. From my understanding the springs are the same, and the airbags are more or less overloads. I'd also guess the transport mode likely keeps them either completely uninflated so when the suspension squats as it's chained down it doesn't try to increase air pressure to compensate for the "squat", or it sets it to a higher (or max) pressure so again, the chains can be made tight and not have the air suspension attempt to adjust itself to compensate. Either/or, I don't think you'll see much of anything without a load. This is in contrast to the 1500/2500 trucks and their air suspension which are more adjustable, with the 1500 going as far as even having a "dump" feature on the keychain which lets you lower the truck while approaching it.

Nice truck. Congrats. I originally ordered the air ride but it held up my order so I had to remove it. Glad I didn't wait though as I love the AISIN/4.10 combo SO MUCH MORE than the 68rfe/3.42 combo.
I would imagine it's also due in part to dual radiators and a cooler thermostat.One thing I noticed the 11 would heat up in a very short distance to op temp the 15 takes longer and runs at a cooler temp. All related to the different emissions systems I assume.

Radiators have no effect on initial warm-up.
I would guess it is from the lower EGR flow on the 13+ motors, similar to how long it takes a 5.9 to warm up.
Did the 13+ trucks drop thermostat temp? I thought they were still 200°?
I was wondering what tires they put on ur truck? Mine are white lettered & it appears that your's are not.
