Uh, oh, you got me started! Here's my list:
When our government "loans" billions of dollars of our tax money to some backwards country and then tells them they don't have to pay it back.
Elected representatives who have lost sight of the fact that they're supposed to REPRESENT their constituents.
A criminal justice system that protects the criminals more than the victims. It's becoming illegal for law-abiding citizens to defend themselves and their property. We need to get back to the ways of "frontier justice". How many millions of our tax money will be spent on trying the snipers for each one of their crimes in each state (Maryland, Virginia, etc)? Just take them out to the nearest field and shoot them!
Greedy housing developers who mow down a forest and put up a bunch of houses that all look the same and they're all five feet apart. That's happening in my town, and the traffic will be terrible when suddenly there are 1000 more cars on already congested roads. So much for the semi-rural lifestyle. We need "minimum lot size" laws.
You guys & gals have pretty much covered the driving pet peeves for me. When I finish school in August I will be saying goodbye to truck driving. However, I would like to add one, and that's drivers who violate the pedestrian crosswalk laws. Every night after I get off work, I have to cross a busy street to ride the employee bus to the parking lot. NO ONE will stop! There have been many close calls, and one person did get hit a few days ago. Management and employees have asked the airport police to crack down on offenders, but they never do.
On a lighter note:
How about sports interviews on TV? "Um, you know, basically, um, like, we were playing to win today. Like, we went out there because we wanted to win, you know, and um, basically, um, you know, we wanted to, like, do our best. " I once heard Barry Melrose, when he was the coach for the L. A. Kings, say, "You know, if we score more goals than the other team, we'll win the game. " Wow! Now I know why they pay coaches the big bucks!

(Hey! I posted this without using any ": mad :" smilies!)
