I don't know where you live but if your engine is at 140 it shouldn't stumble. Try this, if the temps are above 50 to 55 in the morning, start you engine and get oil pressure, then step on the throttle until it reaches 1500 rpm. If it misses, runs rough and blows white or blue smoke you are most likely out of time. Check the timing. That is if you have checked your fuel lines and make sure that you are not sucking air. I'm sure that there are other things to do but this is easy and quick.
