Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) thinking of building my own twins

Hi so i got an idea the other day that maybe i would try to build my own set of twins. My idea isnt the best i know but i dont have money to spend to get better turbos. so im thinking of using a hx35 and a hy35 i know i need something else but i have these to work with. do you guys think this would work? and if so do i need to get a different manifold or will mine work? As i said this is just a cheap idea i have cause im a student and i just bought a house so u know the story. But thanks in advance for any thoughts
