Rotated my tires a couple days ago, first rotation on them. I usually run 50 psi in the back, and 65 psi in the front. So I adjusted the air pressure adding to the front to 65, and letting out air in the rear to 50. My air gauge is always within 1 psi of what I set them on the truck screen, so I know they are both right or both wrong The problem, which I have never had is that they are reading on the screen 65 in the rear ,and 50 in the front , just opposite of what they are set at. My previous set of tires were rotated several times ,and the setting always read right on the screen. Anyone experience this ?

When I had all 4 tires replaced a couple months back the installer pulled all 4 wheels off at the same time. When he put them back on he said he reprogramed the sensors....Don

They were reading okay after I had the new tires installed, don't know why they didn't change on the rotation. The pressures are reading right , but just backwards.

Didn't notice any programming going on when I had them installed.

Not very far, I know before when I changed pressures it only took a short distance to change, the crazy part is the pressures have changed ,but as said they are backwards. I'll take it for a longer drive today ,and see if they change.

Talked to the tire shop, and they said the Ram changes automatic, but they can recalibrate them.

Pretty sure that the Dodge TPMS system will do it all by itself, it may take 15 miles or so at speed.

UNLIKE GM, which requires a forced relearn at every rotation....

I will get it out, and see if it changes, never took very far before ,no where near 15 miles ,more like 1/4 mile.

A quarter mile wont do it. In my experience after flats and tire rotations and replacements usually 1 to 2 miles and everything is back to normal.

I just rotated my tires last week, took about 2-3 miles before they switched on the EVIC.

In the past mine has taken a very short trip, no where near miles, but from the replies I just need to put some miles on it. Will report back later today.

UNLIKE GM, which requires a forced relearn at every rotation....

It finally changed , took right at two miles to do it at 40 mph, this is a first for the truck. I have done this several times, and it literally been up the street, and 25 mph. As I said before less then than 1/4 mile. I have changed the air pressure, and driven one block up the street ,and watched it change.

Again thanks for the help. I thought something went haywire.

They are smart sensor meaning they should self adjust themselves after driving a few miles.

I keep repeating , but it has never taken any distance other then a trip up the block, now as far as learning the new locations, not sure, but it seemed everything changed pretty quick. This time around the tire pressures changed almost immediately, but it was two miles before the location changed.

No big deal now, just never experienced this before with this truck, will know next time . Anyway its reading 65 in the front ,and 50 in the back, what they were set at.

That sounds right, a couple miles, doesn't seem to take long.

What does seem to take a long time, like 20 minutes, is for the truck to realize the are no sensors and zero psi when I swap to a set of wheels without sensors.

So I have a 2013 Laramie longhorn and now wonder if there is a screen I'm missing that allows looking at each whèel, maybe one of you can share the path to that screen

Should be on the screen in front of you, arrow down or up until you hit like, oil life ,filter life, oil pressure etc then arrow left or right until you hit tire pressures. Should be there.

I think only sw trucks show individual pressures. Dw just show a low pressure indication.

I think the 2500's have the pressures plus a warning on pressure, with my 3500 just shows pressures on the screen , and can be set for whatever pressures without any warnings. His is a 3500 two wheel drive, don't know if its DW, but he should have a screen that shows all four tires ,and the pressures.
