well ,my last set of Cooper AT3's went 80k miles and the current set is at 108k miles. '04.5 QCLB 4x4. Have the toe-in set to 1/8" toe-in. No more, no less. "within spec" isn't good enough either. Camber on my truck is 1/8*pos. both sides. I won't buy anything else. Granted I'll be ready for new tires come spring but these STILL had enough tread to get me through the winter..so far. :)

Which tire size was that ?? Stock tire size or over sized?? TIA

The reason I ask which tire size got 80k from a set of Coopers is because (anecdotally at aleast) stock tire sizes seem to get double or triple the miles what oversize tires get !!

That being said, I have NO idea why that is!!

ANYBODY have an opinion as to why that is so??

Dam...thats IMPRESSIVE.

Do you drive offload at all?? What about the condition of the roads you daily drive??

Like I said, I already run them on my Jeep CRD and Toyota ranch truck and I like them ALOT on those trucks, but looks like I'll have to put them on the short list for my 8000# beast.

off road? on occasion. Nothing spectacular. Roads? 90% Pennsylvania secondary roads (ask anyone how "good" they are :) ). 35-55 mph. 10% interstate.
