We have used on our commerical fleet almost every brand of tire. Currently (past 2 years or so) we are running Firestone Transforce A/T's and are getting over 50,000 mile per set. Our trucks are heavy loaded, service body trucks that are used on new construction jobsite daily. The Transforce's have just the right amount of traction for our needs and are not too loud on the street . They are running the stock 245/75-16 load range E (10 ply) size except for My truck, which is the 95 4x4 and is running 265/75-16 lload range E Mich LTX-2 and I have gotten over 40,000 on them currently and will replace them next month. The Firestones are great, the Mich has a problem with "Wander" now that they are worn, which is strange, normally tires wander more when new and have a lot of tread. My 2cents

I use Mich LTX M/S load range E. The truck is used to transport trailers so a majority of the miles are highway. The closest I go to off road is a gravel road every now and then. I regularly get over 90k on the rears and 100k on the front tires, and I replace them when I can see the top of Jefferson's (?) head on a quarter.
