Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) To Change Lift Pump (Supply) PSI?

Has anyone experimented with changing the lift pump PSI by swapping out the return spring INSIDE the lift pump?



Stronger sping=more psi????? Weaker spring=less????



I want to operate the 3936316 piston lift with the VE Rotary injection pump (fixed orfice return fitting) and need to LOWER the lift pump by about 10 psi.



I have many used 393613 pumps that are replaced per PM and will function on an experimental basis.
