Do your DDIIs smoke as mine do? Im constantly looking in me rear view.
ive never understood this question. why would you buy a comp and not tap the wire? why would you spend more money on a comp than a ez and not tap the wire?

You can turn it off?
Just tap it! If you don't, in 6 months from now, when you finally do tap it, you won't have to post and say; "I should have tapped it months ago!".

I don't get the "best of both worlds" comment. Tapped is tapped regardless of where on the wire. The benefits and risks are the same. QUOTE]
The cover that came on a friends '02 didn't "tap" the wire. It just makes a connection to the board. To me "tapped" is using either a "T" tap or a Scotch-Loc which actually breaks the insulation on the wire and can (and will) lead to corrosion issues. So your a bit off on your "benefits and risks are the same" comment.![]()
