Today I was taking off from a stop and all of the suddenly. Lost all forward power. Tried manual low, nothing. Reverse, nothing. Upon trying to put it In park it made a "card in a bicycle spoke" type noise. Then once it got into park it wouldn't hold park. Fluid level is fine. Also, tried it in 4 wheel drive and still nothing. Any suggestions?

I think I would start with checking for a transfer case issue. Is it controlled with a switch or a lever? I am not for sure but I think the park pin typically engages on the output shaft of the transmission so that would eliminate anything in front of it. Jack up a front and rear wheel and spin them to see if the transfer case is engaging and releasing correctly.

Transfer case is out. Output shaft is broken. But I also notice that I can spin the front shaft of the transfer case without it having any effect on the rear shaft of the transfer case, and vice versa. Does that mean the transfer case is shot too?

Probably sheared the shaft or broke something in the coupler. If the case is nor broke the parts are available to rebuild. Pretty sure Bumnethals can help you out there. ;)

Well, a 2x4 doesn't have a t-case so ... ... Oo. :D

Assuming you mean the transmission output shaft, pretty sure there is a difference between the 4x4 and 2x4.
