I am interested as well. I was looking at buying them myself and then saw this thread. Need them for the truck in my sig below. Wheel to wheel.

Let me know.

I'm back home. I have a couple meetings today, but hopefully yhis afternoon (but probably tomorrow) I will get the details together. You can email me here to give me the details of your truck or inquire further.

For those who have been waiting, sorry for the delays. (I was ready to buy in November though  )

Is it just me?

10 to 15 percent just does not seem like a big break. That barely covers taxes.

They do look like fine running boards. I was suprised to hear that you can jack up the truck using them as a lift point. Is that correct?

Would they consider further discount if I pick up. They would not have to fool with UPS?

10-15% could be as much as (nearly) 100 bux - that's 20 six packs of the "good stuff" and 40-50 of the "not so good stuff".

careful not to mention any brand names. :D

any incentive is always better than no incentive

if you picked them up at t & c you wouldn't have to pay freight - ups doesn't mess with them, they are to long and heavy.

i imagine the freight charge to take them around the block OR to take them to the Texas boarder would be $50 minimum.

cost/benefit: how much is your time worth and how much is it going to cost you drive to t & C?

The Southwest Fabricators are very similar looking, but I just called them and they have to be WELDED to the frame. (I knew I had ruled them out a long time ago but couldn't remember why) I like the fact that the Tough Country are simpe bolt-on design.

On my 03, I don't want to weld something on. Maybe on my 94, but even then, I like the flexibility of being able to un-bolt it if something changes down the road.

Bighammer... count me in!

I just found this when doing a search on runningboards.

Hope I'm not too late. You got mail. :)

Wild T, you are included. Anybody else? I think we will place the order tomorrow. I have updated the list. If anybody else wants in on this let me know.

I've been waiting about 5 months to order to save $100. When I look at the list and see the total amount of $$$ saved, I feel better. (It would've been too cold to mount them in winter anyway :D )

I'm interested. . :)

From the pictures, it sure would look nicer if the lip went up a bit further like a traditional Diamond Plate Running Board would do...

(Also allows room for running lights if needed). . :D

I may be interested...

How much...

'03 2500 4x4 HO QC LB (White). .

Can they Chrome Plate them? Or give them a polished finish?

Curious about the extra $$$ for chrome or polished finish. .

Did they send you any pictures of the other finishes??

Any idea on shipping from TX to ID?? Hate to have shipping cost another hundred. . :(

I do not think they offer a chrome or polished finish. Powdercoated black was their standard color and you could get them with a Line-X coating for an extra charge. I think you could get them coated another color other than black but again at an extra charge. The group purchase is for the powdercoated black finish.

When I spoke with them shipping to Michigan from Texas was around $80. I imagine is pretty close to the same distance away as Idaho. Keep in mond these are very sturdy bars made of 100% steel and are in excess of 6 ft long. Shipping these is not an easy or inexpensive task.

Nope... No Line-X for me please... :p

I have a nice white rig, and am looking to complement it with a nice dose of either Stainless or Polished Aluminum. . or Chrome will work too. Oo.

The black just might work... . I have the factory door guards on the doors... which are black as well...

Black running boards, with the stainless steel rock guards just above it might not look too bad!! :D

Will have to see what bighammer has to say... .

Shipping ranges from $70-150/set. I may have worked out a little better price than originally quoted thru KS_Cummins. (he's got some nice pics in his rigs gallery)

We're close.
