I am planning on upgrading my stock transmission on my 2001 with a Rev Max valve body for towing. The valve body offers a 4-3 downshift with TC lock up and a 3-2 downshift with tc lock up too. The tech at Rev Max told me i need a lock up switch but i forgot to ask if i needed 1 or 2. I plan on getting a pac brake for the truck too. They did not sell the switches so could any one tell me who sells the switches and if they are hard to install. I also am getting a governor pressure transducer and would like to know which is the best, the GM conversion, Borg warner or BD. I do not know much about automatics and just when i think i know enough there is more home work to do !

Call the tech again, i think you'll have more questions about how to wire in the Switch (one) and the GM Conversion.
The Lock up switch is no more then a ground wire to the solenoid on the Valve body.

What you bought is actually a 48RE Valve body, the 48 hat this all from factory.

I would think Rev Max would want to specify the modified transducer.

Been a while since I read up on the GM style, but I kinda remember that might not be the best for fully stock trans and go with a Borg Warner or BD. Unless they are the GM based then it's the one not GM based.

Nothing special on the switch just a normal switch from Napa or somewhere.

Did you find the diagram for this? I think it's in one of the magazine articles, I ask because I could not find it easily and folks might be able to look at the wiring to.see the type of switch needed, thinking SPST, or could be DPDT, it's the number of contacts and how they change state when flipped to the various positions.
