Illflem I still have mine as I replaced it myself. Dealership replace the first one and did not give me the old one. All three of mine have been black, that prompted the question about yours. Hoping there was a update that was a better built part. Anyway I plan on trying to clean/rebuild this one. I know I saw a post somewhere here on how to clean/fix one, but cain't find it now. Will keep looking and if nothing else will tear this one apart (not working, nothing to loose).

Illflem you stated earlier in this thread that cleaning your TPS was part of your normal maintenance. Exactly how. Do you remove and spray cleaner in back or some other method. I'm trying to avoid even mentioning the fuel sending unit for fear of jinx. Mines been replaced twice (under warranty both times thank goodness). Warranty gone now, and I'm not sure that is something I want to tackle by myself.
