How much play should there be in the track bar bushing? Engine on, parked, steer right to left hard, I have 1/16 to 1/8 play at upper and lower ends. Is this normal to see when parked or is that too much? Bolts are cheater bar tight as of last weekend.

I replaced bushings w/ Lukes Link bushings about 1-2 yrs ago.

Thuren just came out with a new track bar design, very very strong! But there a few other things to look at, check to see if the mounting holes have enlarged themselves, very common problem, either way your truck came with 14mm bolts on both sides and the new trucks have 16mm bolts, so you can drill the holes out for the larger bolts and order the appropriate bushing or replacement track bar, I would recommend doing this either way, you can use a 5/8 drill bit and if you pop out the bumpstop its very easy to drill the frame side form the back.

I ended up with the Carli track bar. I did put a 5/8 bolt in at the upper frame mount. No more slop. I should have done this long ago.

Now you tell me the bump stop just pops out. I didn't even try to remove it. The job would have been much easier. :)
