Trailer tires: can I convert from 235/80R16 to a 245/75R16?

Anyone Ever See a Tire Do this?

Hooked up the Arctic Fox this last weekend to go get some new tires on. During the drive to Discount Tire, I turned on the running lights and noticed the trailer running lights did not come on. Verified again once arriving at the tire store, hoping maybe it was bright enough out I couldn't see the lights on, looking back at the trailer out of the side mirror. No running lights. Trailer brakes and blinkers are working. Forgot to check to see if the brake lights were working, but I am sure they do as it appears the blinkers share the same Terminals 5 & 6 with the brake lights. Yesterday I checked power on the truck at Terminal 3 and used Terminal 1 as the ground while checking. Had nothing. Found a bad fuse, Cavity 19, 30a - "Trailer Tow". Today I replaced that fuse when I got home from work. Checked power again at the plug Terminal 3, nothing. Albeit, The dome light in the canopy is working again. Just not quite sure what that "Trailer Tow" fuse is exactly for? Assuming that fuse does control the running lights on the trailer, I have a broken wire on the truck side. If that fuse does not control the trailer running lights, I am at a loss. Thank you gentleman, look forward to your thoughts.

What truck is this for? I believe the trailer tow fuse is the constant 12v power and the TIPM controls the rest on 06-09 trucks. With that said I would test for power or continuity on every fuse to see if there are any blown that are not obvious.

The BCM can shut down circuits permanently IF that circuit is repeatedly faulty.

To get it back alive it needs to be reset.

It could be possible that your trailer takes to many amps from that circuit and therefore the BCM disabled it to prevent burning wires and stuff.

Well, I checked the rest of the fuses yesterday. All appears to be normal. This truck is new to us. Sold the 97'. Running lights had worked with it. TIPM is something I had not heard of. From this point, is this a trip to the dealer?

Probably yes on dealer trip. So this is the first time you have hooked a trailer to it?

Previous owner might have tripped it in that case...

I’ve never popped mine due to any lighting circuit issues, have been told you can have it reset it a couple of times...

Never wanted to find out...

I did have the A/C clutch pop the Clutch feed once, that was easily reset by the dealer after the clutch was replaced by me.

I do have a feeling this could be an issue passed on to me from the previous owner. As I stated previously, I did find the 30amp Trailer fuse bad. I will make an appointment with the dealer and go from there.

UPDATE:

Commons sense, and/or reasonable deduction, replaced the truck side plug. Trailer plug is now extremely tight and all lights, etc. work. Thanks all.
