First ...hello...
My 04 3500 slips only when shifting from 1st to second and passing gear (if that's what you call it). Once in gear there is no slipping even with a full trailer. This has been going on for about 6 or so years....never got worse , and I even drove it to Yellowstone like this. The only time it slips is if I "make" it slip. I have had this truck since new and the first part its life it had a edge controller on it and when it was on it was real easy to make it slip. The edge came off long ago and I never in a million years thought it would last this long. I change the fluid every 60K or so miles. It has about 190,000 miles on it now.
This truck will soon end up as a winter truck or long haul truck only.
Thanks
