Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Transfer Case, others available?

What other t-cases are available to us? If someone wanted to go to a more stout case what options do we have?

Do you have the light-duty 241 now? There is a 241HD and I think I saw there is a 241DHD or something like that.



The 1G trucks had a NP205 (gear driven, no chain) t-case. Could probably get an adapter to use it, if needed.

Well it would be for the 97 2500. And there might not be much wrong with it if anything, but I know it's not a strong component and with the plans on this truck I know I will need a better setup than this thing.

Looking for an upgrade on the 241hd case I cracked the tailhousing on mine.

no there is not another stock part left in the drivetrain but the case.

Someone (Standard?) is making a replacement tailshaft housing out of steel instead of aluminum.
