Same here but I went with the Nitto Ridgegrappler instead, from what I see now it will go well beyond 40K with me.
Nitto is a subsidiary of Toyo, same quality though. Also a mix of AT and MT.

My Toyo AT2’s are nearly done , will be close to 40k . Hearing good things about the Cooper AT3 XLT’s .

I really like my Cooper AT3 XLT’s. They are nearly done at 35K miles, 10K miles more than I’ve gotten out of anything with dirt road towing. My use is just hard on tires, but the coopers have been the best and I’ll get money back based on the 60K mike warranty.

That’s good to hear will probably give them a shot .

What is your tread depth @ 35k miles?

I wish Michelin made a true AT tire. I'd buy em

I'll need tires again next month but I'll be buying the Duratracs again. My 3 rd set. Only tire that makes it beyond 40K miles so far and the tread pattern is somewhere between an AT and MT.

You should look at NITTO Ridge Grapplers. Mine are wearing like iron and quiet. My son runs them on his 15 RAM 3500 and does not baby them. He gets over 50k.

Michelins LTX for me also. My summer tires. Hauled 3000 lbs plus on some of the roughest roads in Alaska. Never a issue and wore out two sets but they were not good in the winter on ice and snow excellent tires

I got over 65K from my factory set of Michelins LTX on my 2006 but they were very poor on wet grass as well and snow & ice, I put a set of LTX2 on it from Costco and they still looked almost new after 12K on them when I sold the truck..

Just spoke to the kid. He said the 35’s he recently removed had a bit over 50k and would have made it 60 easily.

Did NITTO start out as their own company then get purchased by TOYO?

I will buy some Coopers either in April or next November I’m planing on about 10000 miles next fall mid September to first part of November. Will take truck camper 3000 plus lbs to Haines about 750 miles two days then ride the ferry to Seattle. Will drive the AK hiway home early November. My wife will be in Portland and I will pick her up there. Then we will do our road-trip Maybe about 6 -7 k miles. I’m not sure if the factory Firestone tires are up to the job. Probably should get the coopers in April May before trip but what to do wire the old take offs is the problem I hate having tire problems on the road especially remote.

What to do with the stock Firestone is the question Craig’s List $100 each times 5 ? Our will the Cooper dealer take them in as takeoffs never done this before. Always wore the factory tires out first and kept the best of the five for spare then only rotated 4 tires summer /winter change over but now I want to run the same tires all year. Tired of changing them every 6 months and to have to take the tire down in the back

2 @ 3/32 and 2 @ 4/32

I am right under or at 1/4" all around, but have only put 25k miles on since I bought them 05/19. It rarely gets driven unless a truck is needed, so a lot of those are towing miles. They've been a good tire and I will likely buy them again.

My Toyo AT2's are made in Japan . Stamped on the tire .

The TOYO's that came on my 01 Sport were Japan and were nice tires. The ones that came on my 98 12V 2wd were China and hard as rocks and were about worn out with very little mileage.

REALLY like the NITTO's

Dad had a couple sets of Nitto Dura Grapplers on his 06. Tread life was pretty dismal, especially considering they were a 2 season tire with lots of highway miles. They were big too, 285/75R17, so plenty of rubber to last… in theory.

Never had dura grapplers, but really liked my ridge grapplers, they had about 30k on em when I sold the truck... I'll probably look into them when I need to get rid of these OEM tires
