Does any body know the symptoms of the Governor Pressure Solenoid?

Does any body know the symptoms of the Governor Pressure Solenoid? 2001 dodge ram 2500 5. 9l thanks. scott crowley

When mine when out, it when into limp mode. transmission limp mode that is. 3rd and 4th gear only. If that's the case don't drive it, fix it. Replace the pressure transducer at the same time.

When my trans started having problems it would stay in 3rd. Had to manually shift it into 1st gear when at a stop. Changed Transducer and Governor Solenoid problem fixed. Hope this helps
