Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) trany up grade

what do i need to do to my trany a 47re to feel good about maybe a little more HP, my pacbrake and towing? better to get a built trany over having mine up dated. i will never be a HP person i just want that secure [ warm and fuzzy ] feeling going down the road. robert
