23,500 miles and the only problem has been a leaky power steering box which was replaced under warranty. Best truck I've ever owned.

Bought this truck used in Jan 05 with 10k mi. Had an 02. This truck makes that one seem junky. I love it. Got 20k on it now. Get 19 mpg @ 75mph. A couple little things, but nothing I can't live with, or can really complain about. Best trade I ever made, and didn't feel like I got boned too hard!

I did not read all the post, but most of what I did read is sounds like most of our 3rd gen trucks are very good. I wonder if Ford and Chevy can say that?

Paint peeled off the rear differential cover, dealer said no problem, it happens all the time, the fluid is fine, and they repainted it.

 Your gonna take that as an answer :-laf

Had to put this in... haven't seen or heard of anyone else with it. My "lumbar support" mechanism went out in the drivers seat-back. Took 2 weeks for the dealer to get the parts in. They called last Friday... I brought it in this morning and drove the 1990 Dodge 1-ton to work :{ . They called just after lunch and said it was fixed...come-n-get-it!!! Wow! Super service... and my aching back is all :D :D :D Other than the seat-back... Nuthin! 21,000 miles and not so much as a cough... whine... shiver... sneeze... hiccup... Nuthin!

Oh yeah... Last trip to/from Ely (Nevada) I set the cruse at 65mph and got 22. 8 mpg (empty / hand-calc).

Kudo's to Dodgeland USA... great guys... great service... great truck!

I am one happy-camper!

Truck is almost 5 months old, 8. 5k miles, and never been back to the dealer for a repair. Great mileage for such a locomotive. Pulls like a banshee. It's a great unit.

After all that I still like the truck No problems with the Cummins,

03 QC LB 4x4 - Torn window seal, leaking clearance lamps, not happy with snapless Dodge tonneau cover - staining on back vinyl and supports replaced after collapsing (replacements still don't fit right), tsb for oil or transmission cooler line, paint fell off valve cover and cear coat peeling off engine and aluminum pitting / corroded (dealer said I put "dressing" on the motor) All I did was was spray with common degreaser and rinse - do this on all my cars and have never had a problem. Have not pursued it as I don't think they can correct short of pulling the motor and repainting. So far no mechanical isses.

1500 miles CD player just started stopping, right in the middle of a song, then restarts song at exact same spot again 5-10 seconds later. Dealer in Albuquerque said he would have to send it off. I replaced it myself, OMG the stock speakers reminded me of the junk they used to put in the center of the dash with AM radios in the 70's.

110k miles ,,,All rear u joints went out, Front axle shaft u joints were loose so I changed them out,,Rear brakes pads went 100k miles front are still ok. . I love this truck but it hats me :)

Bought 2004. 5 3500 srw sb used with 26,000 miles now it has 35,000 miles and the auto trans was rebuilt due to the front bands being loose ( lost first gear) also I just noticed that my shift indicator won't box over my p (park) letter without moving around my shift handle, I left it in reverse on accident, I'm glad I put on the park brake. . I wouldn't buy another brand of truck even if I was paid to do so I love my 3500. :D" Oh yea", I didn't mention that this truck haul's ***** with the edge box. Oo.

Anyone have tail lamp water issues? I just noticed condensation inside my drivers side tail lamp the other day when I washed her. I have not examined closely since, but at a glance earlier today it appears to have evaporated.

'03 with 35,997 miles. I'm hard of hearing, but always felt the rear diff made too much noise. Chaulked it up to the engine being so much quieter than my '99. Took it to the dealer today since the truck is for sale. They are replacing the ring and pinion. I guess it wasn't my imagination after all.

04. 5 with 34,000 miles no warranty problems. Engine noise is louder now than new and much louder than 05-has 4,000 miles on it and had rear main seal go out at 2,500-only problem. Both trucks seem to get same mileage and are both 4x4 4dr autos.

2003 with 60,000 miles.

Only issues:

A/C unit was 2-3 lbs low on coolant

Both taillight bulb housing replaced due to "lamp-out issues" Only $22 a piece as it happend after the 36,000 mile point... minor and no problems sinse.

Both front door seals are torn... I'm wondering if the new 2006 seals will be part of the TSB because I had the first TSB done with the "softer" seals but they still tear... The 2006 seal are physically different and should be what our 2003-2005 rigs get with the latest TSB.

Other than that no problems running Edge EZ for 30,000 miles and get 21mpg @ 65 w/LT315s

A little turbo bark with no boost elbow... limited to about 22lbs of boost.

Traded in 2003 on a 2005 (settled with DC before lemon law case went to court). Only problem I ever had was the 70mph vibe. I must say DC tried real hard to fix it, the list of parts replaced is boggling, but it was still "slightly" there when I traded it in. If I didn't know what to feel for, I wouldn't have noticed it after all the repairs they did. My only advice is drive it before you buy it.

Belt shredded at 5400 miles, other than that, with almost 16,000 now, no other issues (knock wood - I don't want to jinx myself). :D

Only trouble spot I found with mine is backing the huge beast up. That to be solved soon with backup sensors. Other then that no problems with my 05.

Tom
