2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission troubleshoot a dipricol egt gauge

my gauge is not smooth reading anymore and now is always showing lower than normal values and will get stuck and stay at a temp for awhile before slowly returning to zero. I have checked all lines they are good . pulled the sensor cleaned it. so is there a way to find out if its the thermocoupler or if its the gauge. I dont think its both going bad. any tips on determining this

I had the same problem but cleaing the probe fixed the problem.

If you have changed the length of the wire, that may cause indicating issues

confused changed the length of what wire.

danis gauges look nice!, but keeping them working is anothr story, I have quit installing them for that reason.

what to buy

well I have had problems with this egt gauge will look to another brand what is a good choice to replace with? I want to keep it a black face.

I have noticed my Di Pricol EGT gauge is getting sticky. Changing the length of the wire is not going to affect the reading at all. T



I will replace it, but I don't know what I will use yet.
