Overflowing Fuel at fill-up...

Sitting at a red light, my truck shuddered a little and died... throttle control light came on...started up again and ran normal for 10 minutes till I got to my destination...started again fine... what's going on?... anybody?

Is this the ‘02 in your signature? I ask because we’re in the ‘07.5-‘09 forum.

If that happened to my '03 I'd say it was the fuel transfer pump. But since they don't use that anymore we can rule that one out. The shuddering makes me think it's still fuel related, though. My best guess would be either a temporary line blockage or a blob of water in the fuel.

Mine did that on occasion and I got a CEL with the p2509 Code - ECM/PCM Power Input Signal Intermittent
I found I had a bad (aftermarket) connection and also replaced my battery cables. Did you get a CEL? Mine would only stumble and die (but start right back up) when I was at or near idle. Driving normally it would stumble, chime, and set the CEL but continue running. I could clear the CEL and it would be fine for a while before coming back.
