well i just thought i would post some pics of my truck and see what you guys think. its a coil over conversion in the front using king 2. 5" and air bumps. also have long travel nationals out back with 2. 5 king smoothies. cycles 14". im not trying to start a war here, but the coilovers ride great and perform even better. and you know what, i havent had any problems with lower or uper shock bolts that people complain about when doing coilovers. i guess thats what happens when you use good hardware. now if only i could get a good front axle housing!!!!! third one, its getting expensive. eventually tube bumpers, and a 2 tire carrier in the bed.

I'm sure its out of the way, but in your pic of the bumpstop it looks like when it hits the frame it will crush a brakeline, hope its just an optical illusion... nice looking truck regardless. Coilovers look like alot better option than regular springs.

its a 6 inch spirson lift. driveshafts i didnt have to modify. i will be getting a better front driveshaft just because of the amount of travel. its a full heim steering with 7/8 rod ends and dom tube. i machined spacers to where i didnt have to ream the knuckles. i just need someone to who can take action shots

Maybe somthing like this would be a wise move #ad

I am curious about your front bump mounting also. The angle looks funny. I can't tell if it is the angle of the camera or the mounting. I don't see anything to protect where it contacts the frame either?

Bob

sorry bob, its the angle of the camera. those pics are pretty recent and the frame has been beefed up where the bumps hit. now i need some braided brake lines, so i can get rid of those stupid extension brackets. ya thats a really nice truss. i like it cause you still have a good amount of ground clearance. sage make it for you? i need to make my way down there before november to see what he can do for me.

Yea,Baja Mike, Sages Master Fabricator did the work. They have done another at the same time for another 3. 0 equipped truck. I am waiting on a few other odds and ends to finish mine up. For the price and workmanship they will be very busy trussing.

Are you doing a bike class in November?

Bob

ya i definately got to get me one of those. i might just give them a call today. are you running braided hoses? just wondering if you are and where did you get them from? ya il be racing class 20 on my bike. and my buddy will be chasing me in the truck

We had a rider change for the first place in 40 and 50 at our camp during the 500:-laf With broken ribs no less. I am done with the plaster:-laf:-laf Trucks for me now.

I am still using factory lines so far.

Bob

hey bob how are your 37 toyos wearing? i like the bfg projects but i cant get them to balance. just wondering how you like the toyos and if you would reccomend them

Not enough miles on them to judge wear, but they work great and are very smooth for the tread design. I would recomend them.
