Truck let me down

For the last several weeks I've been getting the ding/engine light/abs light at start-up that seems to be so common on these trucks. It's been fairly cold the last several days, and after a real long day at work (14 hours), I went out to the truck at 1 am and went to start her. Wait for the wait to start light to go out ... chug chug chug ... nothing ... . chug chug chug ... won't turn over ... click click click click click. Done.



Turns out one of my batteries was done(9 volts - only 67k miles!), while the other was fine. Replaced with two Deka platinums (850 and 785 CCA).



Now she starts right up and the ABS/CEL/Ding I use to have at startup is gone.



Just wish those batters didn't cost so much right after Christmas...

Get them at Costco. Much cheaper and you can't beat their warranty.

Unfortunately the closest one is over an hour drive for me ...
