2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Truck value

I had a buddy who's looking for a truck ask if I was interested in selling mine. Any tips on how to get a good feel for value? I tried the big Internet sites, but got a pretty large difference. Truck is an 02 3500 HO SLT with 119k. 4" turbo back, Edge comp, etc. He's a truck guy so maybe the parts are worth something, but probably not. I was thinking around $23,000?



A lot of variables, I know, but if anybody has sold or traded lately I'd like to hear how you did.

You're probably not too far off if your friend values the add-ons at all. I'd have said it's worth $21-22K, so $23K isn't a bad place to start. I think value depends a lot on geography and of course, finding the right buyer.
