Let us know when your truck is worth watching, Greg..... ?

NINE what????? Oo.

ROTFLMAO!!!!!

You may as well park it!!! You spent an entire year building an engine to run slower than your "junkyard" engine. :-laf

So much for V-8 rev gain adapted to a 6 cylinder.

Nice run Keating, if you ever get it hooked up, you will give us something to be impressed by.

9. 44 @ 135

I believe that's right, anyway. It actually launched well, and was about 2 lengths ahead of Keating at the 330', but had Keating hooked he would have driven right by on the big end. That was Comp's best pass of the day. It was a far cry from the 8. 20s he crowing about on Friday. Keating had a couple 8. 90s @ 156-158 earlier on in the day.

Keating got treed too, he must have been sleepy. Both trucks backed out at like the 1000ft mark. Comp probably could have run a 9. 0 on that pass and as late on the tree as Keating was he never would have caught him. I wish they would have done best 2 out of 3. :)

This was a great event! My thanks to Dennis Perry (T&S Performance), his wife Shelia and their ENTIRE staff for putting this event all together! ;)

TDR Members "Low 00's" and "banshee" have pretty much summed up the run between the Keating Machine Truck and COMP's Truck. It was DAMN CLOSE IMO,... ... and as they say in drag racing "the races can be won or lost at the lights. " COMP didn't get close to his previous best of 8. 72 and was WAY AWAY from any 8. 2 run. However, we saw Keating get into the high 8's and I can tell you those runs were damn exciting to watch! Great job Keating! As everyone knows, the old Edge Wolverine truck did not show up at this event. Too bad... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

I guess we will have to listen to Greg rag on them for another few months now! :-laf

Thanks for the reply buddy!

I rode up to the event with Johnner in his 2004. We split the cost of the fuel. :) Johnner made about four passes with his truck having a best E. T. of 12. 8 @ 107 MPH if I remember right. That was a little slower than his best of 12. 68 @ 109 MPH here at home (sea level). It was also pretty hot there at Beech Bend (90+) and it felt pretty darn humid to me. But,..... he is posting those times with a Dodge CTD CR that has a 6-speed NV5600 transmission with Haisley Dual Disc Street/Drag Clutch! Not too shabby!

Hope to see you at Indy buddy!

Hey buddy, it was great to see you, Mike and Penny again! ;) Looking forward to seeing you at Indy in two weeks. Maybe we can get together for dinner there. You are right about Johnner,... ... he can definitely "row that 6-speed!" :D I don't know how he does it!
