TST Powermax gauges

I installed my new VP44, and plan on not hooking up the pump wire for the warranty period. The problem is, now my builtin TST gauges don't work. Any ideas? Everything is hooked up, except for the pump wire.

that is something. I wouldnt think it would matter. but apparently it does. the powermax is useless without the wire tapped anyway. get one of those blue chip covers. then the actual wire isnt tapped. but then again we all pay to play. I would call TST and ask if it needs to be plugged in.

I realize the powermax is useless without the pump wire, but I want to continue to use the gauges.

I knew what you meant. I have both. I was going to sell my gauges and just have the powermax. but never did. I wanted the gauges on mine so it would cut fuel when my egts get too high. nice feature.

I spoke with Mark Chapple @ TST, and he said the gauges will not work if the pump wire is not hooked up. There's not much I can do, except install my old autometer gauges again. I kinda like the sleeper look of no visible gauges, but oh well. Gotta have them.
