Just installed my TST PowerMax3... pretty incredible to see what the engine can do now. EGTs run up in a hurry though and the adjustable feature is great. New injectors are going in this weekend. Anyone else running this box? I'm curious to see how others feel about it. Thanks.

<font color=blue>Glad you like your PowerMax³. You mention your getting injectors soon, may I ask which ones and you also said EGT's shoot up in a hurry (which they should), what have you done or planning to lower them? Different turbo housing? Different turbo? Different exhaust? Do you have any of these already? When ya add injectors the EGT's are going to be even higher then they are now, just trying to throw out some thoughts to get ya thinking.

Since you didn't list your signature or state what mods you have I just "Assumed" the PowerMax³ is the only mod other then gauges? Just would hate to see ya have the power then not be able to use it! Also are you auto or stick? Thought bout upgrading the auto or the clutch??

If you already have some of the things I mentioned then disregard, as I stated just trying to get ya thinking... ... <font size=-2>

I'm just adding the standard 275 RV injectors for the increased mileage and better low end response (okay, more power too). As far as EGTs, TST says they haven't found a way to keep 'em in spec with the PM3 dialed all the way up (this includes complete exhaust, turbo, and inlet systems). Sounds like when it's dialed up that it's basically in "truck pull" mode and it's up to the driver to prevent slag from dripping out the exhaust. It's nice to know the power is there even if I can only use it briefly (the numbers they advertise are pretty incredible for just a box upgrade). A clutch upgrade is definitely next on the list and probably a new exhaust/turbo housing to "help" with EGTs. Still wondering if anyone else out there has the TST and how they feel about it. Thanks again.

I love mine,am using it along with DD stage II's.

I have the PM-3, 275 injectors and 14cm turbo with the muffler removed. Awesome power and I haven't seen temperatures above 1200 degrees. Then again I hardly ever step on it!

I know several folks with the PM3 with 10 level remote control. It works great, gives excellent power, and you can control the amount of power to save your transmission, clutch, cut egt, etc. without taking away more power than necessary. However, a bigger exhaust housing on the HX35, or the HX40 with 16 cm2 housing, would be very worthwhile if you want to use the upper power levels much.
