The Exhaust side of the turbo pipe is broke clean off. I examined it and it appears it should have a small collar on the end of the pipe which holds the pipe in place with the clamp. Without the collar on the pipe I don't see it staying in the turbo with the clamp pressure alone holding this big pipe in place without sliding out. I think the collar prevented this from happening and when it broke off inside the clamp the pipe fell off. What are my options? I have been wanting to do stacks and the truck is used for plowing and is currently on the lift. It is also lifted with big tires which would allow for an easier install. But right now I can't even drive it. Are there aftermarket solutions or do I have to buy a dealer exhaust?

Thanks Tim

Got the clamp off and the collar was still inside the clamp.

get something like this (v-band flange)
#ad

and weld to existing pipe, or get 4 inch exhaust. ill go for the latter.

At the bottom of the bellhousing is a mount for the exhaust. Check and see if it is tight before you put it back on the road after repairs. If this clamp system comes loose you will break the flange off the downpipe.

Been there twice so far.

Tim, I have a stock downpipe here cheap if you want it. That would get you going again anyways. Let me know.

That's what startd it in the first place it broke the bellhousing bolt at the speedway plowing for a snowmobile race. Then it tore the collar off the downpipe. Pete I get to Syracuse alot for Aluminum and I would definately like to get the down pipe from you soon. We need the truck for plowing at the Business and the temps are gonna fall soon so we will be back at AIS to start making ice again. 376-8177

Is the TDR Club the best or what? Thanks to PToombs for showing up at my shop today and surprising me with a spare downpipe to get my CTD up and running again and off of my lift. I've never met him until today, but he's been trying to get me to come to Syracuse with the truck for some Dodge events and I just can't seem to get away at the right time. He also caught a broken gas tank strap and a "drag link" was the cause of my recent increase in sloppy steering in addition to the crappy rag joint I've got all bent up.

Thanks again Pete
