Turbo waste gate elbow on 2003

I was given the HyperTech turbo elbow for my 03 and was wondering if it is worth installing without the tuner. If I understand it correctly, it is designed to hold the waste gate off until 20psi is reached and help in low end performance?



Any ideas?

You won't have enough fueling to get any power advantage.

you might get a couple more psi under a big load but nothing you can feel

with no tuner box [boost fooler], you also might throw a code for over boost under load...
