The turque flite 727 pan comes with a drain plug the 47re does not I need some help are the pan the same? the 727 looks a hair deeper i like that it has a drain plug. if you have some info on the 727 pan please add it thanks

I was looking around e bay has a stock 727 that looks just like my pan.

but yes some are not as deep and others are deeper it's worth looking in to if it work i would love to have the stock 727 pan with the plug may check the *******/ dealer to see what they say

from what i understand 727 deep pan is 3 3/8"deep the 47re is 3" deep 1/2 qt more and they are much cheaper than a mag pan or a similar pan

the turqueflite 727 was made from 1962- 1966

the pan has a drain plug in it that is why I was looking into it

TCI has one on e bay $170. 00 buy it now

item # 170437750859

TCI ALUMINUM TRANSMISSION PAN 727/64RH-48RE

not to bad for new with gasket and new bolts

just make shure you do your homework i think the deep 727 pan is what we need on the 47 re and that is what this pan is and yes it has the drain plug

i may grab one up thanks

As mentioned the bolt patterns are EXACTLY the same. However, I'm not sure if the valve body depths are the same. Just make sure that the filter extension puts the pick up deep enough down into whichever pan you use...
