???? Hope its not a question! :-laf :-laf Just kidding, I sure appreciate all your help on getting this fixed. It certainly helps restore faith that there are still qualified techs working in respectable service centers. Having a new friend is the real hidden treasure. Growing friendships with all of my other TDR acquainted friends throughout this ordeal has been really great as well!!! FMcClaren, GraphicMan, CTDgirl, LSFarm, and special thanks to I6DZL! Nor have I forgotten about all of the help from too many TDR members to start listing.



Well, minor setbacks today. Pin hole in the radiator, note to self -always use a fender cover to keep tools from dropping between the intercooler and radiator. Also, the truck was backwards on the flatbed and parts in the bed most likely rolled forward into the A/C condenser as the flatbed lifted to load or unload the truck. Then there is the bumper facia with the clips broken off.



45k miles and the lower intercooler boot has a 2-3" wear strip in it. Almost worn through, but solid enough to at least get me home.



Ahh, the trials and tribulations.....

Drive home was great - max: speed 72mph, RPMs 2200, Boost 4psi

Had a weird smell, Frank even noticed it driving behind me... . paint burning off the new motor :-laf

All gauges looked great! ... except for one idiot light... . indicating that the idiot owner did not bring the washer fluid tank when *I* dropped off the truck, LOL Thanks for putting that and the coolant tank on in the parking lot. Hidden treasure - my brakes work a lot better!! I did not realize how much pedal I had lost with the ABS being out (left front wheel speed sensor). The truck does sound kind of weird though..... how did you get that band clamp tight on the exhaust??? :-laf

You never know when you may need a hand in life. You never have a second chance to make a first impression. I can't believe all the great people that I have just met in just 2 weeks. I needed a hand when I broke and it came down to not having the room to work on it from everyone else helping now that is great…. .
