Looks like Burkhard's truck hit 4th gear and died... . grabbed 3rd and re-lit but lost too much momentum.

Was this one of those "fooler" tracks which is dusty on top, making you think it's loose, but it has good grip about an inch down?

Also looks like the sled was a bit tight... didn't let any of the top trucks out.

Track was loose as a goose... .

Really nice event though... . We all had a good time!:)

I got my pulling fix for the week too!

Yes, sled was tight they readjusted a couple times til they had it set right. I dont think anyone had a full pull (genes work). I also thought it was too light when the pulls started.

Only reason I asked is that not everyone spins out at the end... . looks like just the right gear would have made the difference.

Hey Justin, riddle me this:

Of the Dodges in the top 10 (let's see, that would be, uh, NINE, *ouch*), how many VP44s and how many P-pumped?

Thanks for coming out, I thought it was a really good event.

The Street class tightend the track for the upper two classes, it was good and tight by then.

Anyone who does not like dust on the track, or blowing into the stands, please tell Ray Lowry, in the nicest way possible, the next time you see him, to FIX HIS SPRAYER ON THE SCRAPER!!!!

Justin, I would have liked to see your front tires, flatter.

And don't forget fellas, this was also the first time out for the sled operator, and you have allll made changes. They need to dial you in, the same as you dial the sled in.

Expect a tight sled at Indy.

Gene-

When the heck is McBride going to buy you your own stuff so that you have have the track the way you want it?

I'm not saying you're making excuses, because a lot of the stuff has nothing to do with you, but that's the issue. If DHRA wants to be tops in the nation, they need their own stuff.

I think it would strike fear into the hearts of men to see you runnin' the sled now an' agin. :-laf

"They call him SledJacker" :-laf
