I was reading several interesting articles and comments today in the latest TDR issue 64 on the subjects of "junk science" (my words, not TDR) and use of non-standard fuels.
TDR writer and scientist Joe Donnelly, who holds a Ph. D. in chemistry, suggested it is wiser to invest time and money in proven old-fashioned science than such ideas as hydrogen fuel. I'm paraphrasing Joe's comments from memory.
My guess is Joe would know if magical creation of internal combustion engine fuel from water or air is reasonable or practical.
I'm a pretty dull old guy with limited imagination. I think I'll stick with # 2 diesel fuel.
