Picked up a used us gear vendors e brake today for a good price... . ! Yay!!
It's exactly the same unit on the 01 which has been as reliable as gravity.
The "new" unit does not run it's cleaning cycle when hooked up. The LED lites dim then after two seconds flashes bright and goes dim. I can hard wire the solenoid both pull and hold coils work. The wiring is fine.
Has anyone had a similar problem?
I had thought of using the controller from the other unit but I really don't want to have to buy two controllers iffen there is a short of some sort.
I'm planning on calling us gear Monday but I sure would like to install a working unit tomorrow if I could.
