Oklahoma looks like that ABC hit show, what's it called, oh yeah..... LOST. SC dominated OU. Auburn has no dog in this fight, no co-championship, no national championship. AU barely beat VT, who should have won, by a few points. SC beat the cr@p outta the Sooners. USC National Champions, like I said before, God bless Pete Carroll and Norm Chow. JPonder, you gotta wait til next year and then maybe, lol.

Well, well, well.



First point: Tommy Whinerville complaining there should be a +1 so Auburn could play the winner. By all means--- let it happen. What should really happen is Auburn should play OU and if Auburn wins, then they should be allowed to play USC. Auburn is the biggest joke in College football (ok not really, they're a head up on Cal). They beat up on a weak SEC conference and gave a horrible performance against VaTech. VaTech gave them the game by dropping a wide open pass in the end zone and missing a FG.



Second Point: The coaches/AD's/presidents saying any sort of a playoff system would be too strenuous and stressful and complicated to put together. Funny, it works great for division II. It's still all about the $$. And they suspend the kids who take money from boosters or drive $40k cars. Mack Brown gets a $25 M extension. Show me more hypocrisy.



Third Point: USC rules. We're living it up here in Candyland. :-laf

I'd have to say after a 55-19 thrashing of Oklahoma I'd say they had every right to be in and be the undisputed National Champs. With the poor performance Auburn turned in they should feel privleged to be ranked #2 now instead of OSU. USC ain't got no right,eh,can you say 3 in a row after next year?... ... ..... Andy

Oklahoma should be banned for 5 years. they have went 2 times and they didnt have a chance either time. this year they got in the way of the real national champ from getting in the game.

Well, I can say without a doubt the two ugliest and most shiftless bowl performances I saw this season were turned in by Big 12 teams - specifically A&M and OU. Good Lord have mercy, OU stunk up the field last night, it was PAINFUL to watch. I am not even an OU fan, and it hurt to watch.



I was impressed with USC's execution, and Heisman Matt played an outstanding game. The way they played last night, they could have beat the entire rest of the NCAA - just awesome. I am going to write Mack Brown a letter and ask him to have some surfboards and a couple of VW vans full of dope sent down to the UT Austin locker room, cause it sure as HECK worked for the surfer boys last night :-laf :-laf



I don't know what possessed ol' Bob Stoops last night. He is usually a pretty aggressive coach, but his offense was doing some mightily stupid stuff last night with no substitutions or changes. I would have loved to hear his staff on the headphones during the game:



OC: "Coach Stoops! The USC linemen are kicking butt in the trenches, we can't open a hole big enough to diddle. Whaddaya want us to do?"



Stoops: "Duhh goobblly PETERSON UP THE MIDDLE!"



OC: "But Coach, he hasn't gotten anywhere the last 35 times we ran it this game, why keep trying?"



Stoops: "Duhhhh Boomer Sooner, Boomer Sooner, Boomer Sooner... . say what are all them peoples doing up in them stands there? Where am we?"



And Jason White - what a horrible performance. I can't imagine any pro team wanting him after that, but stranger things have happened.

well I dont know what the civil war is but if you mean the war between the states then I dont know how any paper can report on its outcome seeing as it aint OVER!



I will back you up on the cheerleaders and I would like to say that Texas A&M has the roughest looking cheerleaders I HAVE EVER SEEN. If you got liqoured up and woke up in bed with one of them, You would shurely shoot yourself in the head.

From what I saw last night, you could make a "dream team" from the best players in the top 10, and USC would still beat the doo-doo out of them. They earned the National Champ title and Auburn didn't. End of story.



Auburn had to work their tails off to beat a #9 (10-3) team, they don't even belong in the top 5. LSU lost their bowl and their coach. Now they are hiring our coach Les Miles; they can have him. Look at how we did in the Alamo Bowl. Yeah, he's a winner.
