Anyone know about this?
I just received my order from Geno's & the labeling is different. It now says for HD Engines (10 - 16 Liters) and the Cummins logo is absent. The product number on the quart bottle is VP202. Is this the same stuff as before w/ different packaging? Perhaps it can't be updated for ULSD & is not labeled for use in smaller than HD Diesel engines?
Regardless, I'm planning on using about 4 oz. per every 1/2 (approx) tank as a preventative for a lot of short trips, especially in the winter. Anyone see a problem or have a comment?
I initially went w/ Valvoline because it was linked to Cummins, but the packaging confusion on the previous 1 & 2 quart sizes (see my post of 8/21/2006) and now this HD labeling makes things too uncertain. Perhaps one of the Stanadyne products folks wax elequent about is a better choice. Dunno?
