Velvet Ride shackles

Anybody remember the Velvet Ride shackels for the rear springs? They were an articulated shackle that made the truck ride a little softer- at least that was the idea. I think Goodrich made them and advertised in the early issues of the TDR. Are they available anymore? Any info on where I could get a pair?

I think I may have possibly seen them in an ad year or two ago, but I couldn't tell you where.



They did just what you expected them to, they made the ride just a little softer, My dad bought a set in 95 or so and I got to put them on for him. Even in 95 I remember having trouble finding the first gen units.



I have a set sitting on my shelf that have about 80K on them, pm me for more info.
