For what its worth, I had my new 19.5's put on. I tried to ask all the questions about liquid balance and hub centering but the lady in the front gave no answers. She just kept saying "we will balance them however you want" we will balance on the machine, we will put in liquid or beads....whatever you want. When I asked about the true balance she said their balance machines were XXX o_O. The true balance is a set of 3 sockets that go on before the wheel is mounted so it will align the rim.
Oh well at any rate, I kept my centramatics on and I dont have any vibration running it up to 85 on the way home.

I really believe Ram knows about the problem and doesn’t want to fix it. I noticed the 2019s now have mechanical frame shakers and a bunch of other anti vibration mods.
Hi, Are there photos of these components, and are they backwards compatible?

I just finish 2300 Miles with spring hangers on the exhaust its still there at 75-85 MPH. 1050 miles of the 2300 Pulling my 4 Place Snowmobile trailer, on a scale of 0 -10 10 being the worsted its a 2 at 75-85 MPH and 0 0 -70 MPH. MN to West Yellowstone, MN Speed 70, ND 75 , MT 80.

I've spent over $2,000.00 on eliminating this vib so far.

TC, Can you fill out your signature? Knowing exactly your trucks configuration would help others compare their apples to yours :)

Well I knew it was too good to last.... Rotated my Tires a few weeks back. I'm still mostly vibration free up to 67-69 Mph. But go over like I did the other day running down to Savanah Ga and it's back the vibration and does it get really fun the closer you get to 80 Mph.... Drive 65 and everything is smooth I give up. I've got roughly 10-15k left on these tires I might look into another set of wheels when I go for my next set of tires...… Something out there has to be good......

Could the drag link recall and the associated loose nuts cause a feeling of vibration through the steering wheel ?

I don't see any connection, and Mine is tight. My steering wheel rock solid, its the dash and the seats you notice/fell the vib.

Edit do/don't

I live in Florida and I purchased a new Ram 2500 4x4 Laramie Crew Cab Diesel w G56 transmission out of town. The vibration starts around 65-70 mph and felt in the seat and floor. The Three local Dealerships say its the tires. After 19 tires from Firestone (Ram doesn't warranty tires) I drive 11 hours north to the Dealership I purchased it from. They replaced 2 axles, 2 hubs, 2 rotors, and all new wheels and tires. The ride improved but the vibration is still there at the same speed. The Dealership says it is the characteristic of that truck. They let me drive two new similar trucks on the lot and they both have the same issue. I'm surprised there is not much discussion on this topic. Long term consequences will bring fatigue and premature failure on drive line parts, let alone owner fatigue and frustration. My 05 Ram 3500 4x4 QC SRW SB Diesel with 300000 miles doesn't have this problem. Does anyone know of a solution?

My 16 Laramie is in the shop now for the same thing. And has been in there on several occasions for this problem. They have replaced parts balanced the driveshaft I’m tired of paying for a truck to sit in the repair shop. I drove a 18 3500 brand new and it did the same thing at the same speed 65-80 mph. As bad as I hate it I might have to go back to a Chevy.

try to find someone to balance the tires/wheels on a machine that uses the lugs for centering instead of the center wheel hole? I am sure I would have a hard time finding a shop to it like that though, around here.:(

Well I guess I got lucky. Had the tires balanced again and they sublet to Big O to road force. Two tires were a little over an ounce out, two 2.5 out, two less than 20 lbs, one 32, and one at 45 they got down to 34. It isn't perfect but made a world of difference. I think I'll just wait and see until I get close to 12k and the adjustment warranty is up.

There hasn't been much luck with white regular cabs around here lately. Another member had his bought back after repeated transfer case failures.

Jh.....

These guys on here have reinvigorated me on return visits to my dealer, I love them so much over there. Let me see what i can do with this gem. If they’re unsuccessful? I’ll be selling it for sure.
